DIY Craft Booth Sign

Walking through Hodge Podge (the shop where my booth is), there are so many incredible booths that I felt like mine might get lost in the crowd. To set it apart and to associate it with my blog, I wanted to create a sign for my booth. I thought I might create something similar to my It Is Well Wall Art, but then, my mom found this gem at a garage sale for $5:

Although I felt guilty for covering a perfectly good chalkboard/dry erase board, it was exactly what I needed. I painted the frame black, and then I glued sheet music onto the chalkboard/dry erase board using spray adhesive. After that, I used my Silhouette to cut out all of the words and the tree graphic. Then, I glued them on using a non-wrinkle Elmer's glue.

Not only will this sign draw people into my booth, but it promotes my blog as well. You could even use this for an outdoor event (but I would definitely add a coat of polyurethane).

So.. what do you think? What do you guys use for a "sign" in your booth? Share some links with me-- I promise I'll check them out! :)
