Hello! Are you all sick of hearing about my new house/room? I hope not! My mom found this adorable bed for me for $20 from a local thrift store in Florida. Here's the before:
Don't you just love it's curves? As I wrote in my Design Advice post, I wanted my bed to be a focal point in my room. So, I painted it teal!
(Side note: The first after picture shows the true color of the bed.)

ReplyDeleteBTW, I was in Lowe's the other day and saw some Valspar paint in those sample containers in teal. You know I immediately thought of you. :-)
That teal is wonderful. Looks like a totally different bed...you continue to inspire me!! Need to get a few done this summer!!

ReplyDeleteJust love bargains. The bed details are adorable. The looks like its really expensive. I would love to keep the old color but it wouldn't match your room! A little lighter on the blue would have been perfect!
